As a wedding gift to my husband’s cousin, I presented the happy couple with a portrait of themselves and their fur-baby. This was drawn with coloured pencil, with white gel pen for highlights.

Using a light colour to carve out the initial shapes I begin to refine the facial features to match the likeness to the reference images. In this case I used 7 different reference images to piece together the artwork.
