Project: Logo creation exploration
Ironbark Assurance Services reached out to me as a new business. They were seeking an eye-catching logo that would attract new customers. They are a small-family auditing business, based in Margaret River, out of the south-west region of Western Australia. The client at first communicated that they wanted an illustration to do with an iron bark tree, as it is within the company name.
After playing around with linework, colours and typography, I presented the following possibilities to the client. They were keen to see how these options looked in combination with one another.
Following on from the client’s feedback, I decided to explore a completely different route to consider different options. The client suggested including a guard dog, a lock and a tick of approval. I presented the below options to the client.
We are still in the process of refining the brand’s guidelines and visual identity, however thus far this project has proven to be very rewarding and I have greatly strengthened my stakeholder management skills by regularly communicating with my client.
